ECOOP will again include a poster exhibition,
addressing object-oriented technology and theory.
Posters provide an easy
and informal means for presenting ongoing research to the ECOOP
audience.
Posters are an excellent forum for authors to
present their work in an informal and interactive way. This may
be especially useful for new ideas that have not yet been developed
to the point of regular paper. Posters provide authors with a unique
opportunity to make their work highly visible during the conference,
and to discuss their work one-on-one with other conference participants.
PhD students are particularly encouraged to submit a proposal describing
their work. Time will be arranged during the conference for poster
authors to discuss their work directly with interested participants.
Successful posters are carefully designed to
convey technical details and have a strong visual impact that attracts
the attention of attendees as they stroll past the displays, either
during the interactive poster session or at other times during the
conference.
Posters will be on display during the entire
conference. Poster authors are required to attend the scheduled
interactive poster session, staying with their poster so that they
can discuss their work with conference attendees.
